My Very First Chinese New Year!

It's Caleb's very first Chinese New Year! But we were not allowed to go for the CNY dinner with daddy's colleagues cause mummy is on confinement and had to stay home. So there wasn't any Chinese New Year mood at all here but we were still able to webcam with the people who matter most - our immediate families back home! And we were glad to see that everyone's enjoying themselves back home in SG, going Chinese New Year visiting and dolling up!
Daddy and Mummy would like to thank everyone back home for their ang baos!!! Thank you all for thinking about bb Caleb even when we are so far away! Also, we would like to thank all the uncles and aunties here for Caleb's generous CNY ang baos too! Thank you so much! Little Caleb, only 2 weeks old is a little rich boy now, hehe... daddy and mummy will definitely keep these ang baos under Caleb's savings account!
By the way, grandpa have found the "Ming Pu" that daddy's grandfather had written up ages ago and very soon Caleb will have his Chinese name... We have to figure out the chinese writting first since everyone back home doesn't really read Chinese, hehe... It is written in traditional chinese!
Even though it was a really quiet CNY, daddy still managed to whip up a yummy delicious Chinese New Year reunion dinner for just the 2 of us! Thank you daddy!
Hope everyone had a great CNY! I'm sure for us 2010 would be an even more fun Chinese New Year!

Caleb- A faithful dog/companion, is also bold. In the Bible Caleb and Joshua were the only 2 spies that had the bold faith to believe that God will give them the land filled with giants. With the odds stacked against them, Joshua and Caleb remained faithful to God's word. I pray our Caleb owns up to the meaning of his name, that he is faithful to God and bold in living his life for God.
Though many might have think that, "huh meaning of a dog???" but when you reverse spell the word "dog" what does it turn out to be?- "God" And you know how much our family loves dogs so when we chance upon the meaning we were like, OMG that's so meant to be. The qualities, loyal companion, big hearted... It's definitely a name great for a little boy and for a man to be! Though Jason and I do not attend church regularly, it's definitely gonna be a good name if he decides to become religious.
Lucas- Light or bearer of the light. Lucas is definitely going to bring light into our lives...
