Coming Home
Thursday, January 15, 2009
Thank you everyone for your wishes!!! We have been home from the hospital for 2 days already and it had been good so far. The last night in the hospital was horrible cause we were so not used to BB Caleb's routine! He was up the entire night and we didn't have enough sleep at all! Breastfeeding has been great so far and mummy has master almost all the positions you can find in the guide book and BB Caleb really has the natural ability to feed! We have been feeding him every 2 hrs or sometimes less! Hopefully we will be able to get into a better routine soon!
Now our routine is so in sync with Bb Caleb- Milk, Sleep, Diapers, Milk, Sleep... Trying very hard to catch up on our own sleep whenever he is!
Here are some coming home photos from the hospital... Daddy has managed to upload all our pictures on our photo library at Multiply. For more photos, you can check out: http://jasonopheang.multiply.com/photos
Giving a little yawn while waiting for the Pediatrician to discharge me!
A family pic before we head of the hospital...
Time to go home! I do not like getting strapped up at all in the car seat... Remember, you can't go back without a car seat!
The nurses showed us how to rock Bb Caleb in the infant car seat. That's why he's finally quiet... So happy in the car seat now!
Frosty taking a sniff at Caleb. Frosty has been great so far! Adapting well to Caleb's presence. He loves to lick Caleb's heels!
Daddy giving Bb Caleb his first sponge bath!
Favourite time...when Caleb is peacefully sleeping and looking adorable.

About Me
My Estimated Date Of Arrival: 12th Jan 2009
My Delivery Doc: Dr James Johnson

About My Name Pronounced as: "K-lerb, Loo-kas"
Caleb- A faithful dog/companion, is also bold. In the Bible Caleb and Joshua were the only 2 spies that had the bold faith to believe that God will give them the land filled with giants. With the odds stacked against them, Joshua and Caleb remained faithful to God's word. I pray our Caleb owns up to the meaning of his name, that he is faithful to God and bold in living his life for God.
Though many might have think that, "huh meaning of a dog???" but when you reverse spell the word "dog" what does it turn out to be?- "God" And you know how much our family loves dogs so when we chance upon the meaning we were like, OMG that's so meant to be. The qualities, loyal companion, big hearted... It's definitely a name great for a little boy and for a man to be! Though Jason and I do not attend church regularly, it's definitely gonna be a good name if he decides to become religious.
Lucas- Light or bearer of the light. Lucas is definitely going to bring light into our lives...
Here's a list of things that Daddy and Mummy are preparing for my arrival and some of them were passed down by their friends & relatives. Others, were gifts! Thank you very much all aunties and uncles, Jies Jies and Kors Kors!
