Week 36 already!
Whoo Hooo... We were suppose to go for those studio photo shoots but after doing some research, the costs of photoshoots over here in the States are just not worth it! I was looking at the motherhood forum sg website and most mentioned that for less than $200SGD you'll be able to get a decent photoshoot package in Sg! But that isn't the case over here.
I was checking with one of the photo studios here, just their sitting fees cost like USD$45. Sitting fees=The photographer having a one on one session with you talking about the package and what you want during the photoshoot. And they charge either by hour or session and further more these sessions does not include photos! Each photo will have its own individual price, tag to it by size. After all these researches, we decided its definitely not worth it to go for the photoshoot.
And we decided to have our very own one right in our own home with our new Nikon D40 cam! Daddy Jason was the cameraman! Hehe it isn't perfect like those taken in the photo studios by professional photographers but we thought it wasn't too bad for amateurs like us! Hyak hyak hyak... I also photoshopped away some of my belly stretchmarks coz I just couldn't bear to look at them! Yikes... I know I know my photoshop skills aren't perfect either kekeke...
Anyway here are some photos to share!
Haha are they good enough? I think they are to me! I actually love them and we even saved a few hundred bucks! So happy...
Anyway, we also want to thank the following people for their love!!! Gail and Jervis our dearest friends who have bought baby Caleb his Peg Prego High Chair! A beautiful beautiful one! We really really love it! Thanks guys, so sweet of you all to buy baby Caleb such a dear gift! Totally totally love you all la... Sigh.
To lovely Shirley, Melvin, Ethan and Nicole who are far away in Alabama and yet keeping us in their thoughts, thank you dears! They bought baby Caleb, a car shade which we totally needed and a beautiful boppy pillow playmat for baby Caleb where he can play on during tummy time! Caleb is so going to enjoy the gifts very very much!
And dear Jasmine who have gotten baby Caleb beautiful little clothes! Thanks sweetie for thinking of us even with your busy busy schedule. Love ya...
Also at yesterday's Christmas party, I finally met Jean, this sweet lady I met on motherhood forum sg! She will be delivering just 1 month after me and she is having a little boy too! Baby Kayden... Hopefully we will all have a safe safe delivery!

Caleb- A faithful dog/companion, is also bold. In the Bible Caleb and Joshua were the only 2 spies that had the bold faith to believe that God will give them the land filled with giants. With the odds stacked against them, Joshua and Caleb remained faithful to God's word. I pray our Caleb owns up to the meaning of his name, that he is faithful to God and bold in living his life for God.
Though many might have think that, "huh meaning of a dog???" but when you reverse spell the word "dog" what does it turn out to be?- "God" And you know how much our family loves dogs so when we chance upon the meaning we were like, OMG that's so meant to be. The qualities, loyal companion, big hearted... It's definitely a name great for a little boy and for a man to be! Though Jason and I do not attend church regularly, it's definitely gonna be a good name if he decides to become religious.
Lucas- Light or bearer of the light. Lucas is definitely going to bring light into our lives...
