Week 35
Thursday, December 11, 2008
Wow... Week 35, it seems so long ago I was thinking the pregnancy is going to be a slow and long process but what with another 2 weeks to go, Caleb's going to be a "mature" enough baby to come out anytime!
Weight-123LBs
Caleb's head down already according to Dr Suarez and he is healthy, heart beating strong and steady. We are going for our review again next Tues and after that its going to be an every week process till Caleb comes out!
Getting jitters already! Almost everyone I know who were preggers, their babies are out already! Just can't wait to kiss and hug Caleb for real but still I think I'm so gonna miss having this little one inside me, always entertaining me with his gentle kicks and funny hiccups! Missing that I am able to have him with me wherever I go!
Since his head is down already, the pressure has been making it difficult for me to walk around. I even have pain on my lower abdomen area when I'm lifting my legs to change my bottoms... Sigh. Darling says I walk funny but I can't help it, it is really painful... I'm going shopping tomorrow with Kit and Gail tomorrow so hopefully Caleb will be guai guai and don't cause mummy so much pain.
Ok baby Caleb check out what you dearie daddy has bought for you this thanksgiving! A stroller and an infant car seat! Auntie Gail and Uncle Jervis says that they are going to buy you a Peg Prego High Chair! All these baby gadgets, gosh, baby Caleb is super pampered!
Our long awaited dark khaki Bugaboo. Which he can only sit on, after 6months?
But with some attachments he can have his infant car seat attached to it. I love how the wheels rotate and how easy it is to open and close the system! And darling got a good deal for it! He is so happy, we got quite a bit of savings for this Bugaboo!
And here's the Graco car seat that can fit onto the Bugaboo! Well not all infant car seats can go onto the bugaboo, Only a few from Graco and so we had limited choice. We chose this one that so gonna match the colors... Haha...
With the Lamaze entertainer from dear auntie Shirley Law and the Kiddopotamus head and body support from Auntie Sherry! Caleb's all set to be discharge from the hospital when he is out!
Now it just gonna take some time for us to learn how to install it in the car. Do you know that in the States you have to put the baby car seat in the midde at the back passenger seats and the hospital will not discharge the patient and the baby without seeing their infant car seat! Amzing... baby and children in their car seats are of the utmost importance!
Daddy also bought baby Caleb his stokke crib which we are still waiting for its arrival! If it doesn't come soon baby Caleb's gonna have to sleep with Grandpa Frosty haha!
Alright, hopefully everything will be alright and baby Caleb will wait a little longer before he comes out from mummy, all mature and healthy. More updates soon!

About My Name Pronounced as: "K-lerb, Loo-kas"
Caleb- A faithful dog/companion, is also bold. In the Bible Caleb and Joshua were the only 2 spies that had the bold faith to believe that God will give them the land filled with giants. With the odds stacked against them, Joshua and Caleb remained faithful to God's word. I pray our Caleb owns up to the meaning of his name, that he is faithful to God and bold in living his life for God.
Though many might have think that, "huh meaning of a dog???" but when you reverse spell the word "dog" what does it turn out to be?- "God" And you know how much our family loves dogs so when we chance upon the meaning we were like, OMG that's so meant to be. The qualities, loyal companion, big hearted... It's definitely a name great for a little boy and for a man to be! Though Jason and I do not attend church regularly, it's definitely gonna be a good name if he decides to become religious.
Lucas- Light or bearer of the light. Lucas is definitely going to bring light into our lives...
Here's a list of things that Daddy and Mummy are preparing for my arrival and some of them were passed down by their friends & relatives. Others, were gifts! Thank you very much all aunties and uncles, Jies Jies and Kors Kors!
