Week 34 and Wonderful Baby Shower

Week 34 It has been a great week so far! We've attended a child birthing class and breast feeding class at the hospital. :) 3 more child birthing classes to go... The breastfeeding class was more fun and interesting as the speaker seems to be more experienced while the child birthing class consists of a lot of video watching and so is was a tad more boring.
My girlfriends over here have thrown me a "Americanised" baby shower this week where we had games and good food at this place called Mimi's cafe-one of my favorite restaurants! At the baby shower baby Caleb also received tons of gifts... Really sweet of everyone to be there and to bear gifts for baby Caleb. We definitely felt so loved and lucky to have known such dear friends here in Arizona.

One of the games we played was "Nursery rhymes" Where we had to filled it blanks to some nursery rhymes sentences... Oh my gosh, my knowledge totally sucks!!! I think I've only gotten 4 out of the entire list correct... Haha. Better brush up my nursery rhymes knowledge!

Ok now the long awaited- PRESENTS time! I am not posting all the pics coz alot of them I sat so "Chor lor"! With the tummy I have, I always seem to be opening up my legs wider when I am sitting down! oops... hehe just selected few ok? Here's Caleb's green rainforest bathtub from Fisher Price which I totally fell in love with and listed it in our baby register. Super cute with toys and all...

Here's a little Lamaze toy from Shirley for Baby Caleb! An entertainer! We are gonna put it on the car seat!
And this is a head and body support that was in out gift registry too... Going to be super super comfy for baby Caleb in the car seat! Thanks Sherry and Kel!
There is this little bib for all 425th black widows babies! It says, "Spit happens!" So cute!
A boppy pillow from Kim and actually I received 2 from the shower and luckily we will be able to return one...
A big ang bao from darling Kit and Derek! Which we will be using to buy a baby carrier...

At the end of the party, I present to these dear friends of ours, home made baby shower favors! See I made brownies and duckie sugar cookies... :)
Everyone enjoyed it and I am so happy!!!
Here's a display of everything for Baby Caleb from the baby shower with Ah Frost smelling and marking every item with his Saliva haha...
We got a baby wipes warmer which I totally loved as well which we listed on our baby registry but realised we have to return it for something else as it is using a different voltage and we won't be able to bring it back to Singapore. :( We also got music CDs, bottle sterilizer, burp cloths, cute little clothes...we really really love each and every single gifts for baby Caleb! Thank you everyone for being there for us and for showing us so much love...

About My Name Pronounced as: "K-lerb, Loo-kas"
Caleb- A faithful dog/companion, is also bold. In the Bible Caleb and Joshua were the only 2 spies that had the bold faith to believe that God will give them the land filled with giants. With the odds stacked against them, Joshua and Caleb remained faithful to God's word. I pray our Caleb owns up to the meaning of his name, that he is faithful to God and bold in living his life for God.
Though many might have think that, "huh meaning of a dog???" but when you reverse spell the word "dog" what does it turn out to be?- "God" And you know how much our family loves dogs so when we chance upon the meaning we were like, OMG that's so meant to be. The qualities, loyal companion, big hearted... It's definitely a name great for a little boy and for a man to be! Though Jason and I do not attend church regularly, it's definitely gonna be a good name if he decides to become religious.
Lucas- Light or bearer of the light. Lucas is definitely going to bring light into our lives...
