Of course Caleb loves any presents that all his darling aunties and uncles are planning to buy!
To purchase something from the registry: Just click on "Find a registry" at the website and enter the following registry number "71903770"!
**TIP:For those mummies who are giving birth in the States, its good to start a registry cause even if your items doesn't get fulfilled by your friends, you are entitled to a 10% discount on your items the 2 weeks your baby is born and you wish to purchase those items on your own! Discounts discounts discounts! Time to find ways to save up for your soon to arrive baby ya! So you'll see there are some items on our list that baby Caleb may not require as a newborn but we would still wish to purchase since the stuff are cheaper here in the States then in SG! We need to stock up before returning home hyak hyak, kiasu Singaporean parents la...
Weight-119Lbs. (hmmm it went down a pound, doesn't matter does it?) Symptoms-Bad rashes on tummy! Grrrr....
Wheee... Had a totally great week! How's everyone? It was our 2nd year wedding anniversary on 12th Nov and so Jason decides to take leave on Monday plus it was the Veteran's day holiday on Tues! So we had a super shiok-a-doo-doo long weekend!
Here's what the pair of "artistic" parents did for little Caleb during our long weekend. Its totally cute la... I mean when it comes to arts and crafts, Jason and I totally cannot make it but still it was kinda fun to do a little something together as a couple for this dear little baby of ours...
Bought some wood alphabets, ribbons, acrylic paint and 2 what we thought were "tiny-paint-brushes-but-turn-out-to-be-big-and-difficult-to-work-with-brush" from Michael's and we were all set for our little art and craft session! We don't know anything about paint but now we know that acrylic paint isn't very easy to work with! Oops. The entire project cost about $14 or so...
What you need 1) Wood Alphabets of your child's name 2) Ribbons and Nails or just 3M double side tape 3) Paint 4) Stencils if you can't draw for nuts 5) Paintbrush 6) Some cute ready painted designed wood chips 7) Glue Gun
Here's what we had at the start The wood alphabets comes in brown and painted white, so we bought the painted white... Lazy to paint the entire alphabet!
Our design, blue and brown Podka dots!
The project completed with some cute patterned wood chips stuck on using my glue gun! And I thought hanging ribbons make the project looks less rigid and more fluid haha... They were baby blue ribbons with brown podka dots! Only $1.99 for a big roll! Had to nail the ribbons onto the wood though...
The final step! Hanging them onto the wall of your soon to be nursery! Have not set up the crib, the changing table and night light yet, once done will get a pic of the nursery!
Yeah! That was fun! I think its fun for a couple to sit down together and make little handi craft for your soon to be baby! Doesn't matter if the project doesn't turn out to be perfect like the ones you can buy from stores... By the way per painted alphabet cost $6.99 at Baby R Us... So our project is definitely cheaper haha... Time for some couple bonding peeps! I know this other new parents from a forum and they made little soft toys for their baby!
Have fun!
Jason's parents and some other relatives are coming over this weekend for a holiday! Can't wait to see them!

About Me
My Estimated Date Of Arrival: 12th Jan 2009
My Delivery Doc: Dr James Johnson

About My Name Pronounced as: "K-lerb, Loo-kas"
Caleb- A faithful dog/companion, is also bold. In the Bible Caleb and Joshua were the only 2 spies that had the bold faith to believe that God will give them the land filled with giants. With the odds stacked against them, Joshua and Caleb remained faithful to God's word. I pray our Caleb owns up to the meaning of his name, that he is faithful to God and bold in living his life for God.
Though many might have think that, "huh meaning of a dog???" but when you reverse spell the word "dog" what does it turn out to be?- "God" And you know how much our family loves dogs so when we chance upon the meaning we were like, OMG that's so meant to be. The qualities, loyal companion, big hearted... It's definitely a name great for a little boy and for a man to be! Though Jason and I do not attend church regularly, it's definitely gonna be a good name if he decides to become religious.
Lucas- Light or bearer of the light. Lucas is definitely going to bring light into our lives...
Here's a list of things that Daddy and Mummy are preparing for my arrival and some of them were passed down by their friends & relatives. Others, were gifts! Thank you very much all aunties and uncles, Jies Jies and Kors Kors!
