Week 24- 6 months! Weight: 108Lbs Pregnancy Symptoms- Shallow breathing and Increased Urinary Frequency
Here's my pregnancy bump at 24 weeks... Getting hard to breathe! :) Always need to take in big gasp of air or big sighs. I asked Dr James about it and he mentioned its bacause of the increase level of progesterone in my body, as long as there is no wheezing and chest pain should be fine!
And I had my glucose test yesterday, the drink was super sweet but baby Caleb loves it haha... After I took my glucose drink, Dr James commented Caleb is very busy inside my tummy when he uses the doppler machine haha... Well anyway, Dr James said that he will see me in another month afterwhich it will be an every fortnight affair. OMG Time passes, remembering we just found out about the pregnancy on Mother's Day! He also mentioned that I should be able to travel as long as it is before the 35 weeks! So Orlando and Canada here I come!
Anyway, here's a hospital checklist that June shared. Thanks June! Plus some additional stuff I found in a book.
Hospital Bag Checklist (For baby) 1) A set of baby clothes to change when we are discharged 2) Receiving blankee
(For Mummy) 1) Nightgown or Robe 2) Socks for mummy and slippers(Hospital can be cold) 3) A set of comfortable clothing to go home in and jacket 4) Sanitary Pads 5) Toiletries (Hair brush, toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, soap, etc) 6) Lip Balm (Its a must, my lips are always so dry) 7) Pillows if wanted 8) A towel 9) A face towel, in case I want a cool cloth during the delivery 10) Boppy Pillow
(For Daddy) 1) Camera 2) Laptop (I wonder if Banner Estrella have Internet access) 3) Baby Einstein music CD which soothes us 4) Snacks for himself since I can't eat 5) A towel 6) A set of clothes to go home in 7) A jacket since its winter time 8) Hdp chargers, Camera Charger
I think we should pack the bag at about 35 weeks? Chat again next week!

About My Name Pronounced as: "K-lerb, Loo-kas"
Caleb- A faithful dog/companion, is also bold. In the Bible Caleb and Joshua were the only 2 spies that had the bold faith to believe that God will give them the land filled with giants. With the odds stacked against them, Joshua and Caleb remained faithful to God's word. I pray our Caleb owns up to the meaning of his name, that he is faithful to God and bold in living his life for God.
Though many might have think that, "huh meaning of a dog???" but when you reverse spell the word "dog" what does it turn out to be?- "God" And you know how much our family loves dogs so when we chance upon the meaning we were like, OMG that's so meant to be. The qualities, loyal companion, big hearted... It's definitely a name great for a little boy and for a man to be! Though Jason and I do not attend church regularly, it's definitely gonna be a good name if he decides to become religious.
Lucas- Light or bearer of the light. Lucas is definitely going to bring light into our lives...
Here's a list of things that Daddy and Mummy are preparing for my arrival and some of them were passed down by their friends & relatives. Others, were gifts! Thank you very much all aunties and uncles, Jies Jies and Kors Kors!
